Clothing and Accessories For Women With Special Needs

Lately I have been having several discussions with women who order bras that are "way" too small or "way too big". This results in extra money being spent to ship and re-ship bras back and forth. I would love for everyone to use a tape measure at least once every 6 months and do some simple measuring. First, measure yourself around in a circle under your bra band. To that number you add 2-4 inches. The formula that is on most websites says 4 inches. This is not always true. So, use the 2-4 inches as a guide.

Remember that when you go up in band size, the cup does get larger.

Use of extenders is a fabulously cheap way to get the perfect fit. Not every woman is a perfect 36B. Breasts and torsos with or without surgery differ. If the bra is a bit too tight, but the cup is perfect, and the fit is good - get that extender!

Would love to hear back from some who have had bra fitting problems!
